You can see a bit of the cross hatching at the edges of the core. okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5585 Posts	Posted 03/10/2024 08:40 am Since the core and the rim are struck together, as if it were one coin, I don't see how it could happen, unless as SPP describes above. You can see the grinding/file marks on both pieces of the coin. Maybe the owner has gotten as tired of colored RCM crap as I am and he took it into his own hands to correct it.
