Hi everyone, please see the attached photos of a circulated 1896-O Morgan I recently acquired as part of a lot. See the close of the MM.I suspect that it is actually damaged caused by post mint damage (e.g. during circulation) early after release as opposed to an error - but would like other thoughts. I appreciate it!

Your first picture shows it the best. Gouge on the surface that moved the bottom of the O to the left.
