2009-P William H. Harrison Dollar Does Anyone Have The Full Cud Of This Die Crack?

gsp193 Pillar of the Community United States 975 Posts	Posted 03/07/2024 11:38 pm I don't collect these but I won two of these exact coins at a local auction, same cracks and marks for 12 dollars together. I thought it would be great if they turned out to be a Retained Cud but I could not tell from online pics. So does anyone have different progressions of these cracks? Also are the striated field marks scrapes? They don't look like polishing lines as they are in a single direction and seem to be in conjunction with the coin curvature. Maybe die fatigue? I just know nothing about these and they may be on all of them as far as I know. Thanks in advance for any info! Even the marks on the bust below are identical so I think those are die scrapes. Thanks for checking, hopefully there are some with the complete Cud before the die was retired! Has to be some with earlier stages, will be fun to add to the hunt! Heres these two, they are in sequential order. So maybe from a roll or bag? They had little stickers that said die crack in lower left corner. Gotta get the glue off. Report this Post to the Staff
