Question For 2nd Lincoln "release Party"

meckl9 Valued Member United States 326 Posts	Posted 04/16/2009 12:25 am I am looking at attending this event although I am beginning to believe it is going to be chaotic compared to the 1st release. Here is my question ...my dilemma actually. My thoughts are that the 2009 penny are going to have serious premiums, especially the Fed wrapped rolls. If you are at the release how do you intend to place your order via the mint's website at noon EST so you get in on the mint's release as well? Is this a valid concern or am I crazy? There will be money to be made that day for sure. With regard to your dilema, I think you are crazy. I plan on attending the event and getting as many coins as I can in hand and then once I return to my hotel, I'll order up my 5 order limit on the mints website. Brucec Pillar of the Community United States 1026 Posts	Posted 04/16/2009 1:09 pm Well I have a notebook and Verison Internet AirCard so I can order them from my Truck. However I have to be in Goshen Indiana MAy 23rd think it is a couple hundred miles out of my way and would be over an extra week of RV site expenses not sure it is worth it. BU then I did read this will be at a State Park Hmmm maybe they have RV sites better check this out. Another problem is I am handicapped while I can walk but not for hours I can't stand in one place for long guess I could bring my electric scooter will ponder on this but better make up my mind if there RV sites there they are probably booked up already. But I'm still waiting on the FIRST ORDER TO BE DELIVERED !....The second coin will probably take 2 and a half months to arrive from the "release/order date" ! It's just that there's going to be a beer & snack charge of $10.00 a person.... (one beer per person and two M&M's per person limit !) .....
