I just purchased a set and on inspection see that a second Bessie Coleman quarter is inside the plastic casing from the mint. I've never seen this before and wonder how common this is. Look forward to your comments.

Never saw anything like it before - BUT, are those 2 quarters scratching each other? Or is the case pressed tightly not allowing any movement?

The case looks tight to the top coin in the picture I provided. I did move the case around and couldn't see any movement occurring.

nice find - never seen something with an extra coin in one. These cases are a bit difficult top open without cracking the case, so I would leave it as is, who knows maybe down the line it could gather up some extra value because of this.

@billiam I would leave it as it is if the top coin is not affecting the other coin. An interesting packing error.
