A few days ago, I decided to stop on by at a local coin shop I usually visit. While I was in there looking at Morgan dollars and Peace dollars, I saw that he also had some Washington quarters (I personally I don't collect them) but then I thought "I'm already here so I might have a look at them". Three of them caught my eye: a 1941-P with some Crescent toning, a 1960-P with darker toning that has tiny hints of color, and lastly a 1962-P that has some rainbow toning in front of Washington. (I payed $5 per Washington) I do apologize if the photos are trash.

, those are some nice Washington quarters...
On the reverses of the 1960 and 1962 coins, I don't see any evidence of these quarters being struck with proof reverses which would be a type-B variety. Those quarters during the fiscal years 1956-1964 at the Philadelphia mint had proof dies substituted for circulation dies to help with the yearly quota of quarters minted, as the circulation dies kept wearing out and they needed more dies to finish off the year. Best way to distinguish those type-B's is a large gap between the E and the S of States, while circulation strikes like yours those letters are almost touching.
