I only have an old guide and want to confirm the Charlton Numbering of this note. I know its kind or beat-up but what would you estimate of grade and value be?

Thanks

BC21f Seal only
Not an expert by any means but I'll say Fine and book value $2,000
Looks very washed out - still a good note to have.

Very much in demand Dominion note.
I think The previous poster made a typo.
It's Charlton #DC-21f
Closer to $1500 IMO, check ebay for comparisons.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

+1
From what I can see on the scans/photos is a well circulated note with the serials # rubbed off (a little). The red ink for the # was not that good (& easy to rub off). My instincts say this note was not processed (too many wrinkles!) I agree with DBM's assessment that it would probably fetch closer to a VF20 price (for appearing 99% original). The only problem (besides a bit soiled/worn serials/wrinkled paper) is the (design or 1%) which has been worn off a little near the left side of the train engine. I don't see any stains, pen marks (etc) or other distractions. Nice eye appeal for the F+ grade.

I have a friend who is related to someone in Europe who sells replica notes.
Apparently the train note is high in popularity of Canadian notes second only to the Princess Elizabeth $20
