Good morning everyone!

Kindly asking to borrow your eyes to help date and identify this 3 pence.

It's from Queen Victoria (1st portrait) but I'd love to narrow down the type or date if possible.
Numista lists these variants:
3914 Type A1 (1838-61) First bust, young head, high relief, ear fully visible;
3914A Type A2 (1859-68) First bust variety, slightly older portrait with aquiline nose;
3914B Type A3 (1867 only) Second bust, slightly larger, lower relief, mouth fuller;
3914C Type A4 (1866-84) Tie ribbon further from tooth border, cross on crown nearer tooth border;
3914D Type A5 (1880-87) Third bust, older features, mouth closed, hair strands leading from 'bun' vary;

The last digit kind of looks like a 4, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the year digit can be inferred by the type of the obverse?

I would read that as type A4 with the 1b reverse. I read the date as 1874.

Thank you Keith67 and PaddyB!

I agree that the last number is likely a 4, it has a very distinctive |_ shape in the upper right corner.

Anyhow, I humbly accept PaddyB's expertise here and go with A4/1b 1874!

Thank you very much!
