*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

the 81S is probably the most common morgan. I am not a fan of this one. theres a fingerprint at K10 obv. the toning is blotchy and has moved towards the black which is the last level of toning. there is a chunk out the jaw.(could be die related) there are so many high grade 81S coins out there this is not one I would even consider.

AU/UNC details ( PMD) probably due to improper storage and handling

Here is half/half glare no glare. Strange thing is the nonblack areas are mirrorlike, then its that black mass, is it oxidation or dirt? Looks like black grease. Learningcurve
For future misstakes #128515;
So no reason to use acceton on this?

Acetone won't do anything on this one. Just looks like dark tone. AU-58.

new photos I think it had an improper cleaning sometime during its life. if whatever was used on her was not rinsed properly then over time you end up with something that looks like this. the coin still has value but probably not as a collector coin as there are just too many nice examples out there. maybe a little more than melt. UNC details is out. i'll go with AU details ( PMD) due to improper handling

Ugly duckling but I'm starting to like it despite al its shortcomings, it has a mirror effect and if I compare to my other morgans, not many! The strike is so detailed, this must be considered a strong strike?

And rose gold tone
