Does anyone know what this is on my 1989 d mint mark nickel? I've never seen anything like this before. Also check out the D mint mark, am I seeing things or is that a D over S error also?

Any ideas? Or is this just damage?

Looks like PMD.S over D would be an OMM=over mint mark, they stopped in 1955.Best to tell us what you are seeing as a possible error. Also need better photos. In focus and less light glare.

The provided image above is not sufficient enough to come up with a prognosis on the coin due to poor quality of th eimage.
