Works for me, but the site does not use SSL, so if your browser is set to block "insecure sites" it will be blocked.

Hey John, I had the same issue several weeks ago and what I had to do was delete my bookmark and then type in the new URL to access the site. I bookmarked the new URL and it has been fine ever since.

I am able to see it fine just now, be aware that you need to use http: rather than https: and its possible some web browsers or security software will block it for that reason or attempt to auto upgrade to https and when I try with https it wont connect so check settings if something is upgrading to https. Also another place you can remember is archive.org (wayback machine) which may sometimes allow you to access web sites when they are down temp or permanantly, at least parts of the site that have been archived. http://varietyvista.com/ http://varietyvista.com/06%20Mercur...me/index.htmnot https://varietyvista.com

Thank you for commenting. The thing is,I clicked on a bunch of other sites in my bookmarks with https and they worked fine. The site I used to see if VV was down said it is down for everyone not just me?

It's only because they have no SSL. SSL is 100% not needed for Variety Vista. Just bypass the browser warning. Unless of course, you're afraid a random person is going to eavesdrop specifically on Variety Vista to see what varieties a random unidentifiable IP address is looking up? They are likely on a shared hosting plan that won't let them use Let's Encrypt which is free. They force sites to buy from them for $60 to $100. One of the many reasons I left GoDaddy and got my own server. SSL isn't needed here either, even though browsers want you to believe it is..

The site I used to see if VV was down said it is down for everyone not just me? Yes the issue is just with that one site not using https. You should be able to access other https sites fine that use it, but if you attempt to use https on vvista I noticed it didnt connect at all, but if you use it without the https (just http) it connected ok for me. So either you were attempting with https or some browser setting is trying to now auto upgrade/change that connection to https when you use http and possibly all connections to https so might need to check for a setting depending on the web browser. As bobby said that specific site should not be an issue but don't use unsecured when dealing with financial data, payments or other personal info at minimum - make sure those are using https

You can try these fixes: go to edge://settings/privacy turn off "automatically switch to more secure connections with automatic HTTPS" restart the browser and use http://, or then can also try Add the site to the allow list under Insecure content. edge://settings/content/insecureContent click Add next to Allow Enter the URL and click add see if you still have a problem accessing the site or switching between the two https://sitechecker.pro/site-audit-...ps-redirect/https://help.dreamhost.com/hc/en-us...ect-to-HTTPSAlso until you fix it remember you may be able to access some links http://) through archive.org at least.
