Ham1947...its difficult to call PL and DMPL from photos without something to assist in the depth perception. we can only assume based on looking at hundreds of PL coins what would fall into those categories

in the case of this coin both sides exhibit depth and polished fields enough to be able to call PL. without anything to help with the depth perception such as newsprint its never a given but its a pretty good chance this one would make the designation

also, PL coins are may exhibit a higher amount of marks and scratches on the fields due to the higher level of mirroring. if you take the photograde photo of a 61 or 62 and compare it this one you'll see that this one has significantly less hits. also consider the depth of them

MS-62 at best. There's a lot of bag marks.

I would also be at 62 PL. PL coins exaggerate the marks, but this has too many.
