1964-D LMC, Questions & Grade

i previously posted this in "varieties and errors" but got no responses.

have found an odd looking 64D. this is a scan, as I have not upgraded my digital camera yet. the coin is clearly worm, however ALL of the letters on both sides are nearly completely filled in. most of the numbers and letters are almost double or so of the ordinary 64 cent. is this entirely a result of wear, or is there something unusual about this coin. the color is somewhat "yellower" than a typical copper cent. grades and
