My 9 year old daughter, ironically who is named Penny, and I have just gotten into coin collecting, so we are pretty new to this. We found this 1960 D penny that looks like the numbers are almost smashed. The top letters also look like the die was off. The D is a very unique shape as well. There is a line on the rim along the bottom right. I am attaching pictures that we took with my phone and one from the coin microscope. I was hoping this is a large and small number overlap. If I can't use the microscope I can take that photo off., but obviously the microscope shows us the clearest view. Can anyone tell me if we have something special?

to the CCF Looks like your coin has taken some hard circulation hits and flattened out the D and the 60.
