I would appreciate assistance in grading this banknote. I am unfamiliar with the grading of paper currency.

I would say Fine with details (as Mr. Frog states) as I don't see the missing design that is typical of VG. These include extensive tape residue on left and bottom left borders (front) plus marker (or remnants of a teller's stamp?) on the reverse. I don't see a great deal of wear on the design other than on the major vertical & horizontal folds (reverse). Front looks slightly faded and there appears to be stains on the back as well.
