What Do These Stamps On Military Tickets Mean？

I think those small purple "stamps" are similar to "chop marks" on coins that signify the item passing thru a specific merchant's hands. Centinal Valued Member United States 263 Posts	Posted 04/18/2024 8:53 pm Those are Japanese invasion notes. Basically the currency japan put in place in countries that they occupied previously and up to wwii. The stamps are from the Japanese currency association for authenticating the note so they can get actual Japanese cash back in return. Long story short, Soldiers were paid with these and the ones issuing the invasion notes to the soldiers were paid in real cash. Report this Post to the Staff
