Hi!
I need help to identify this coin. Hadrian, real or fake? Little bit strange as it seems to been mounted. If it real, what type of coin? Dunpondius, As, or...? Weigth 10.48 gram. Diamater 26.5 mm.

Looks real, former jewelry piece as you already noted

Rx. looks like Fortuna, rudder/cornucopia, FORTVNA AVG with S C across field

Would suspect dupondius given your stated diameter of 26.5mm

I'm 90% sure that a Dupondius would be a radiate bust. I would suspect it's an As. I have a similar type. Diameter 26mm

Hadrian AE As. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, bare head right / AEQVITAS AVG S-C, Aequitas standing left, holding scales and rod. 10gram

Probably real, but someone (presumably in modern times) attached a loop to turn it into jewellery. Someone else then sawed off the loop.

Similar markings can sometimes be seen as casting sprues on cast fakes, but I'm reasonably confident that's not the case here. Perhaps overcleaned for most collector's tastes, and damaged from the ex-mount, but genuine.
