1943-S Mercury Dime For Grading. - Coin Community Forum

Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6473 Posts	Posted 04/25/2024 8:45 pm This is the second Mercury dime that I got as part of a lot of 3. I plan to liquidate it on ebay, but in the interest of being factual, I want to correctly disclose whether it has been cleaned or polished. To me, it looks very bright for the level of wear, and the high points have that rounded look of polished silver. Is that assessment accurate? This coin was somewhat interesting, as it appears that the die was so heavily polished that parts of Liberty's face have disappeared into the field. Report this Post to the Staff
