Your obverse is all squished to nothing, double struck coins always have two distinct strikes

Soft dies hammered, That is why obverse is destroyed, some use leather under obv as this absorbs obv damage but still can be seen. The rim and reeding are formed by the collar also original rim would be totally flattened by second/third strike........home made no doubt

That's what I think as well, Mike. Two pieces of leather, soft dies, a large mallet and a sturdy work bench. The leather keeps the metal to metal contact unseen.... at least that's what I think.
