I have read that the lustre on these often is more satin than shiny. And that they are also very common in higher grades. Holder looks very old! so I'm suprised that there is no toning....

Its a coin I might bid on
Thankful for your experience.

Tgif!

Looks decent to me.

But Morgans are not my area of expertise. Let us see what the experts have to say.

Pics are overexposed, difficult to make an accurate assessment.

The overexposed pictures plus the glare of the holder make this one hard to assess. Looks possibly low MS to me.

If those photos were all I had to go on? Cleaned and/or dipped AU details worth about $30 tops.

I bought it for around 30$ a small gamble as I can sell it for 30$ easily. If its a uncleaned au or low ms then its a bonus and I keep it.

I bought a lot of 6 morgans with this coin for 180$ So anything is a bonus. One of them I know is heavily dipped old cleaning. But still no gamble.

Problem for me is that if I buy a graded 100$ coin from US, I get 25$ vat and 25$ transport. So 150$ total. So I try to find cheap stuff over here . Hence al crappy coins I post :) That way I get to handle more coins without financial risk and learn to spot bad coins with the help of you all
