Hi all. Just some random questions. Hope it's OK. Haven't posted in a while...trying not to be such a pest.
#1 I have the Coin Snap app (mainly to put photos into some kind of database). The price info is all over the place to me ...like a coin being valued between .38-$642 However I have been getting the "No market price" on the 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial cents. It can't be that there's no market "value" for these. What does this mean?
#2 I've just found my first 2024 Lincoln Cent in the wild. I know.No big deal. It's a nice coin, but the L and I in Liberty are just ghost letters. Would that be normal wear and tear or is it more likely a grease strike-through? If so, would that add or subtract any numismatic future value?

Suggest checking ebay sold/completed items information for coins of interest--not the asking price, but actual sold price.

I don't know about the app. The reason there is no market for 09s is because there were millions and millions of them made and everybody saved them because of marketing hype. I'd guess there are still more in rolls that haven't been opened than are in circulation. Your 24 is a slight Greaser, not enough to have any premium.

I have yet to see a 2024 but all I've heard of them so far is Struck Through Grease - in liberty and VDB.

Remove the coinsnap app immediately and forget you ever had it. It's complete garbage.

Yes . Time to stop wasting space on my phone. I know there are lots of factors and AI is in it's infancy, but good grief. I still like to having a photo database. Is there a better one out there?
