Mint marks were punched into the die by hand during that era, so their location can vary widely. This is an unusual placement, but probably not worth a premium.

Understood Mr. Coinfrog, one more question is this a die chip?

Coinfrog nailed it. And yes, that's a Die Chip.

Alonzowick90,
Mint marks were hand punched on each working die until 1990 when they were added to the master die, so placement will vary till 1990. Yours is within mint tolerance. More research needed on your part.
