1851 Three Cent Silver Repunched Date Help

roach Valued Member United States 364 Posts	Posted 05/03/2024 8:36 pm Hi all, I recently acquired this 3 C Silver with a rather obvious re-punched date, (and a hole) but could not find this variety listed anywhere (NGC PCGS or Cherry Pickers, etc etc. Is there a definitive resource/reference for 3 C silver varieties? I have Flynn's Two Cent book, I will look up the Three Cent one. Moderator...why are we not allowed to post shots of screens? If its clear enough and shows the detail we need I don't understand the issue. I use a magnifier that is hooked to a monitor that doesn't have a screen capture option. roach Valued Member United States 364 Posts	Posted 05/05/2024 4:42 pm 50% of the pictures people post on here are not good enough......and the alternative is a far off picture that shows no detail of something like this (for example my original coins photo). So what is the harm of allowing them if they are good enough to show the detail needed? Shouldn't any picture be "allowed" and we let the group decide if a picture is good enough to glean information from instead of just disallowing them? Report this Post to the Staff
