Hi all, I recently acquired this 3 C Silver with a rather obvious re-punched date, (and a hole) but could not find this variety listed anywhere (NGC PCGS or Cherry Pickers, etc etc. Is there a definitive resource/reference for 3 C silver varieties?
Thanks in advance for your replies!

BStrauss3 Thank you! I just assumed there was not a book for some reason. I have Flynn's Two Cent book, I will look up the Three Cent one.

Moderator...why are we not allowed to post shots of screens? If its clear enough and shows the detail we need I don't understand the issue. I use a magnifier that is hooked to a monitor that doesn't have a screen capture option. The only way I can get a picture is to take one with my phone of the screen.

screen shots are pixelated and they hide details. (The camera when you take a picture of the coin on the screen it also takes a picture of the Monitor's pixels as well.

50% of the pictures people post on here are not good enough......and the alternative is a far off picture that shows no detail of something like this (for example my original coins photo). So what is the harm of allowing them if they are good enough to show the detail needed? Shouldn't any picture be "allowed" and we let the group decide if a picture is good enough to glean information from instead of just disallowing them?

Nope.

We've made it quite clear how to help you help us help you.

Most of the people you are asking for help from will see a photo of a screen and simply ignore the thread. This includes me.

I'm out.
