For those who have gotten boxes from both companies, do you think Wells Fargo boxes are better than Loomis? Most banks in my area order from Loomis but there is a Wells Fargo bank I'm thinking of approaching to see if I can get boxes from them.

Interesting. My Wells Fargo branches carry Loomis rolls/boxes. Same for my US Bank branches. I am not a commercial entity so I can't get deliveries direct from Loomis.

Like any of the cash management firms, it depends on the local office servicing the region. Some sift silver and others don't. Same for Loomis vs. Garda World vs. Brinks vs. Dunbar. I found Dunbar consistently has no silver in its boxes while the others depend on the operating region.

I think a lot has to do with your geography. The Wells banks in my areas - SoCal & Vegas - seem to be mostly Brinks affiliated. I've had a lot of success with their Brinks rolls (especially nickels) through the years. Rarely do we see Loomis boxes/rolls out here, though they show up on occasion.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
