What happened to this 1941 Wheat back penny?

1941-Wheat-Back-Penny.-What-Happened-To-This-Penny?

The obverse side has damage too but I couldn't get it to load. Any information will be appreciated.

Appears to be post-strike damage--some of it possibly mechanical in nature. The coin didn't leave the striking chamber in that condition.

Just damage, likely deliberate.
