2017A $1 Dollar Bill Weird Color Reverse

elliottite Valued Member United States 256 Posts	Posted 05/15/2024 11:28 pm Got this bill in my change. In hand the color of the reverse stands out like a sore thumb. Not so much in the pictures. At first, I thought washine machine. But the front of the bill shows no signs of that or the off color. I took some side by side for comparison. Seems suttle in the photos but its not. Just wondering if this is even a possibility or somebodys foolery. Thanks everyone. Report this Post to the Staff

Well down at the local Safeway at the self checkout aisle. I tried to spend it but the bill acceptor kept rejecting it. 4 times till I realized what bill it was. Now I have no clue about how these machines decipher the good from the bad. Does that raise any eyebrows. I took another photo of it next to a normal color bill in different light.
