I snagged this at the PAN show today. This is my first graded Indian cent in my collection. The actual color is "richer" and has more purple in it than the picture shows. This coin also has a nice cartwheel to it. It looks really nice in hand.

What do you think PCGS graded this coin?
Enjoy.

Okay, I'll take a shot at 61 RB. I like the reverse.

MS64RB

A few very faint marks on the cheek and a minor pin scratch on the headband just above the top of the ribbon.

The answer is.........MS64BN

I would agree with the BR guesses too, there is some Red in the coin still in various areas.

the photos show a coin that has at least 5% red on each side which should be an RB coin. this is why the majority here assigned an RB designation. grading companies are not always right. they only have a couple min. to assess coin. never ever rely on the slab grade. always grade the coin yourself.

i had it at MS63 but I was bouncing between 63 and 64. due to the spotting & blotchy coloration I leaned towards the 63. I can see it at the slab grade. I think if I was purchasing this one I would not pay more than 63 money for though
