Well, I couldn't reach Mr. Flynn but I was able to contact Gary Rosner about the 1866. He has a site on these varieties and is thanked by Allan Gifford in his book.
Mr. Rosner was very helpful and checked his reference books and notes. He couldn't find this 1866 in any of them and confirmed it is a new variety.
He also added: "Now here is the challenge, find a second example to confirm the variety!".
Yikes! One finally pops up after 158 years, but a second one is needed to confirm the variety.
Anyone have a spare then can lend me?
Here's a link to the 1869 (# B04c)- http://goccf.com/t/466200#4061192

Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
