Hello. I'm trying to get some help and information about this Canadian penny I've had. I thought it might be a mess up while it was made but I can't find anything like it online so I'm not sure if that's the case. Does this look like some sort of error? I appreciate any responses. I also appreciate responses that don't take digs or are condescending if it's considered a dumb question to some of you. Thanks in advance. &

I can't quite figure out what happened on the reverse, but that would be PMD and did not leave the mint that way.

Looks like whatever is on the reverse splashed on the obverse.

to the CCF, Justah0bby! It looks like drops of solder on the obverse - perhaps someone tried to make a piece of jewelry with this coin.

Not an error. Looks like something is on the coin, gunk of some sort. Weight? It is PMD.

It's definitely post-mint. The edge and rim look strange, almost as if someone was trying to make a Magician's coin by removing the reverse. And then it looks like things went wackers. There appears to be a 1951 date in a metal that is not bronze and looks like solder. All I can see is a science experiment gone wrong.

@Justah0bby Obverse seems splattered with whatever has been added to the reverse. Perhaps melted lead, zinc, solder, foil? This is not a mint error.
