has to be damage as the coin is bulging at that area, however the 'cuts' are very deep and I see no zinc showing. Why?

The fact the coin is no longer perfectly circular leads me to believe it is PSD. Odd, but is the area through the "E" of CENT raised? It's hard to tell from the images. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

One way to outsmart the scale company is to weigh in grains and then convert to grams (0.00)
Can you confirm the anomaly on both surfaces are incuse (recessed) in the areas I mentioned?

They are incused. I got some side light and shazam . Appears to be pure damage.
