2020 D Nickel With 5 Full Steps / Extra Apostrophe

eagle2a1 Valued Member United States 168 Posts	Posted 05/26/2024 8:15 pm I've attached photos of a 2020 D Nickel that seems to have an extra apostrophe above the letter "E" in Liberty. Really seemed wierd so wanted to confirm if this meant it should be sent somewhere for confirmation. Also, the pictures seem to show some doubling on date. Also, there seems to be a good 5 steps on Reverse of coin if that overall matters. Thanks for the advice as always. Report this Post to the Staff

eagle2a1 Valued Member United States 168 Posts	Posted 05/26/2024 9:13 pm I actually sent this coin to NGC first without consult on any forum. I had to take case apart to take better images. LOTS of learning and can cost much too. It came back with MS62 5FS. I've taken out of case so I guess it goes into my personnal file now as not knowing on staining as an actual issue. I'll keep trying with coins as it seems relaxing to me as hobby. Report this Post to the Staff
