I had recently read in a reply here on the forum a mention of local currencies; one of them being Ithaca hours. Well I live about 2 1/2 hours from Ithaca and am there occasionally on business. Well the last time I was there I picked some up...

They also have 1 hour and 2 hour notes. Each hour is worth $10...so each note is worth that fraction of $10 I.E. 1/8 = $1.25, 1/4=$2.50, and so on. You can learn more at www.ithacahours.org
