I always find weird coins, these are in a set of 5 in and old holder. Looks like the coins reacted whith the case?
Think they will clean up with acetone? Thinking of buying
Its 1908 and I believe these are semirare?

Looks like typical toning from air migration into the case. I doubt there is anything wrong with the coins, those cases are safe to use.

No way to say what mint the 1908 is from, but as far as rarity the 1908's are very common from all four mints.

We will see if I get it for 40 dollars it might be worth it.
Ia a 1 cent and a 1921 morgan so melt value.

It's storage. The case itself is an acrylic plastic, about as inert as it comes. People have had bits of acrylic in their eyes since WWII and then most cataract surgery implants.
