yes its beat up. could this be mad die around the face, and broken mint mark punch or just total damage thanks for looking be back later today

Misaligned Die only applies to the rim of the coin. Not seeing a Misaligned Die, just damage on the rim. The face might be showing Machine Doubling. The mint mark might be 1mm-005 on CopperCoins's. https://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln...ie_state=eds

I agree with all of above. Definitely check your coin for an RPM as mentioned.

I agree with Errors and Tacc about the RPM.

There's a massive amount of listings for this dates RPM so you'll have some digging to do.

Don't think it is an RPM and definitely not 1MM-005 - The MM is not in the correct location and is slightly rotated.

jipa, pay attention to the direction of the RPM, if you just scan through the listings, you do not even have to open up each one, just look at the pics and find the ones that look like yours. This one is very different from most of the others and pretty easy to spot.
