I think Eagle confirmed my suspicion on this one. In hand, the coin is just way too gleaming at an angle, but it is flat from perpendicular. I just wanted to sort out AU vs. XF. It also has a scratch in front of the face, a scrape near T, and a staple scratch near Y.

A pity, it coulda been a contender.

i think the scrape you note in front of the brow was something we have seen and is die related. the mark by the T is a non-event it wont change anything. the scratch does look like a staple. the photos have to much light to see the surfaces properly
