Nice solid coin. Wholesale is around $2k. Looks like it is retail price.

looks like trueview photos

these early series offer a challenge to even the best of those grading coins due to so many issues at that time.

I'm saying VF25. the sharpness of the lettering, date, back of hair & denticles are all saying higher

Much better than a Fine-15, although the cleaning nets the grade overall. If I were to buy and resub, I would expect a VF Details grade in which the price at $2,500 is reasonable.

Although I highly dislike bright coins so this would be a pass at even a better price.

i think jacrispies is correct. I think they netted the coin in instead of detailing it. they tend to do that more for higher value/rarer coins. overall the coin is better than an F coin.
