i think ngc misgraded this coin--i think it would straight grade au---i see no damage or corrosion---maybe they did not like the color---

You don't need so many pictures. Many graded coins have been cracked out of their slabs and resubmitted. If you believe it was graded improperly give it try.

I changed the brightness on the photos and I see the dark dark green on the obverse that is indicative of environmental damage. Hence, I think they graded it correctly. Again, better brighter photos would help.

I see some darkness on the obverse that appear to be light, surface-level corrosion. Properly graded in my opinion.

i also adjusted the lighting and at least the obv surfaces appear to be compromised, most likely from improper storage. you can see this on all of the obv photos. without better lighting I have to agree with the grade also.

NGC held the coin raw under good lighting. They saw ED. Viewing poor images through a slab is no substitute for in-hand appraisal.
