Not the best pics. I'll say AU-55, perhaps 58.

I'll say AU, possibly details. Might have been cleaned.

I'm here to learn. Why do you say it looks cleaned?

The color does not look natural to me. If you compare this coin to straight graded AU and MS coins, I think you will struggle to find a match in color. This is a sign of cleaning. I lit doesn't look whizzed, but it does look altered in some way.

I appreciate the feedback RedRaider. The issue(s) for me is that the coin can look drastically different depending on the lighting of the photos, and these are seller pics, which is all I have to go on. And I've seen all sorts of colors (blue, purple, pink, etc..) on slabbed and raw IHCs online, causing a difficulty for me to distinguish that which is altered and that which is not.

It does make a difference what company slabbed them.

there is a possibility that the lighting here is overexposing the surfaces and we are not seeing what the actual coin looks looks like. since these are seller pics i'll wait until you put up your own photos. the coin does look high AU and MS is not out of the question. I think in hand photos will help determine grade and whether the coins skin is intact

Can you post new photos with less lighting? Too hard to see the surfaces in these.

Agreed that the lighting could affect how I see this. We will all provide better feedback once we see some new pics. That said, there is a lot of detail on this coin still!

it appears that all the original surfaces have been removed based on your new photos. AU/UNC details (cleaned). why do people do this to a high end coin (thats rhetorical)
