Genuine, the head looks funny because there used to be a hole there. The hole was plugged and the head re-engraved.

does not look like a fake but it would most likely grade ~XF details cleaned repaired scratched damaged and graffiti

yep, saw the head engraving after a plug repair, bit of a shoddy piece of work, but the coin appears real.

jacrispies: haaa haaa good one  ... I was implying that I have yet to see a fake Seated/Trade Dollar that has successfully imitated US Mint milling; Navincitron usually the suspect edge in inset, no flow, and the tops are as squared as are the bases-there is no 'flaring'. Plus, the wear factors are not present
