I can't tell if the vertical lines behind the bust are from a clash or a stain or PMD.

They're in the right location for a clash though.

Looks like a stain. Your coin is a 1984 D, not a 1980 S.

There is some staining that's making it difficult to see clearly, but it looks like there might be some vertical lines above LIBERTY from a clash.

I'm confused about the "80-s" in the title as well.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

To avoid confusion, maybe you should edit your title a tiny bit from "80-S" to "80's"

(just a thought)

anyway - your coin could show a clash, but there is a lot of toning and staining going on here. How about getting a better image of the obverse not taken at an angle or rotated. the reverse image is just about perfect, so try to match that.

OP already had it as 80s, but the forum software autocorrects "80s" to "80-S" so I changed it to 1980's to get around it.

It would and it did, but I added the "19" to make it consistent with the 1984.

Yea. Coins pretty gross so I was struggling to get a decent pic.. the bars next to the shoulders he primary area I was looking at but theres a few other questionable spots on Lincoln too. Will see if I can snap a better pic. Thanks for the title help
