It might grade VF. I don't think it's worth slabbing.

Given the images posted, I'd not recommend submission for grading.

Looks to be around VG to VF range. MM is suspicious, there are a lot of fakes out there. These are only worth slabbing in high-grade mint state.

How anyone can evaluate this coin from these dark pics is beyond me.

I see no one mentioned it so I will.
Best to always remove coins from 2x2 holders before taking photos. Also, pics are too dark and need a close up of the mint mark.

Please remove the coin for the 2x2 - all I can see is dark surfaces and glare spots from the plastic covering.

The cost of having it graded would most likely be more than the coin is worth.

the photos really don't matter unless you want folks to grade the coin. the 31S is a semi-key coin and would need to be MS60 or better in order to spend the $$ required to grade the coin. even with these photos that can be ruled out.

if you want a grade repost the coin out of the holder with better lighting

consider the following for having a coin professionally graded
two reasons to slab

1. its a rare coin that needs authenticated and preserved
2. you are planning on selling the coin and the cost of acquisition plus the grading fee's would warrant it without chewing up all your profit

PCGS charges a minimum of $69 for a subscription other subscription levels include grading vouchers though so you could reduce these costs. add to the subscription cost, per coin grading cost which I think for this one might be $23, shipping & ins both ways (1-4 coins is $27 if the total value is under $1000)

NGC - economy grading tier is $22, plus $10 handling fee, plus $28 for shipping (1-5 coins).

ANACS grading would be $16 but there's a 5 coin minimum. Shipping would be $29-35.

CAC - $99 subscription ($50 grading credit), economy grading $15, gold $28, $40 shipping/handling/ins

i don't slab coins for these reasons especially the cost involved. I don't know why this is so popular today. just making the grading companies wealthy
