I received my proof set today and my Sacagawea coin looks damaged in my proof case. Any ideas if this increases it's values.

That appears to be an impact hit on the plastic case.
Can you provide a straight on from the top image of the case?

In the first pic, it looks like a "wide collar" error.

Yes seeing a small crack in the plastic and also what appears to be a feature on the outside edge of the coin,
"wide collar" perhaps, as mentioned above.

The more I look at this, the more I see.
I appears that the 'wide collar' feature is also raised up above the rim - which is what possibly cracked the case (from the inside).

Still would like to see a better image.

A Wide Collar could be a possibility.

Thank you everyone! I have been collecting silver pros since 1999 and never seen simmering like this. Here are some more images. Can these type of errors be valuable? My dad always looked for error coins, he would be proud of me, right now &

very nice images! thanks

So I do think that Makecents is correct and the mint crammed the pack closed and it cracked.

So I do think it is a nice error in a mint sealed case
but is that case now compromised to air leakage in that area?

Thanks Dearborn, I ordered another proof set because I was worried about the coins (due to the damaged case and I want a perfect one for my collection. Should I send it to pcgs to vale it?
