Hi everyone! I have this old coin which is pretty slick, it shows the face of Lady Liberty with most of the Liberty characters visible in the obverse and stars around the edge, the date I could guess is 17 something something. The reverse shows the old style eagle with arrows and rays, and I can make out the letters ...OMPS, and the coin flips horizontally not vertically like other US coins. I hope the pictures and the description I gave could help you pinpoint it. Thank you guys for your help in advance.

@Oldgrouchyguy thank you so much! That solved the mystery for me. Although I haven't found a single one with arrows in the rays. Maybe I just need to research a little more. Thank you again.

Goldilots,

I moved your thread to a better section (I think) of the forum.

The inscription "COMPOS.SPIEL" is helpful in this instance, as I have very recently seen some discussion on these pieces on another forum.

In short, this is not a coin, but a piece of German-made play money, with a design loosely imitating an American gold double eagle. Two examples on Worthpoint are here.
