thanks Helder, Bruce, and BC @BC: that Friendly Eagle is a nice one to have - there are several ways to id them. one is the eye brow and smiling beak, but on the reverse, the moon craters are more enhanced as well.    |

Thank you Dearborn for those images explaining the variety. Is this variety known for only 71D or with other dates also? Will look for this in few other albums I have.
At one time I was looking for 3 varieties of 72P. Found only Type 1 and 3. Still missing Type 2.

@bg - yes that 'Friendly Eagle' is only on the 71-D Ike.
The 1972(P) type 2 one is the rare one, and can get pricy too.
