Hi guys, could some one please tell me if this group of uncirculated UK coins has any significance or value, perhaps it was from an album of some kind in the UK that I am not aware of. The Obverse on all coins has glue of it, suggesting it was glued in an album at some stage. I have tried soaking the coins in olive oil to loosen up the glued paper but it is difficult to remove. I have them in acetone now, hopefully the glue will come off.

You've got a 1955 nickel-brass threepence, 1961 cupro-nickel sixpence, 1965 bronze halfpenny and 1967 bronze penny. These are all very common base-metal British pre-decimal coins that were in regular use before the UK introduced decimal currency. The halfpenny was demonetized in 1969, the penny and threepence in 1971 and the sixpence in 1980. In souvenir shops in London and at some historic sites like castles you can buy 'sets' of them glued to a card with maybe a picture of Buckingham Palace or a Union Flag. The coins look as if they've been polished. I imagine someone pulled them off one of those souvenir cards. Fun souvenirs but these coins would probably be in the 10 pence junk box at my local coin shop.

Good luck! Hopefully they are not weirdly toned underneath.

Hi guys, they have cleaned up ok.
The 1965 penny appears UNC. Are these coins plated or polished?

Yes, well done, you made a good job of removing that glue.
Polished, not plated, but nothing lost as the coins had almost no monetary value before they were polished anyway.

I agree that they were polished, but they look much better now the crud has been removed.
