Didnt find one keepable coin. I was expecting at least one silver since I get between 10 and 20 wheaties for every box of pennies.

Well, silvers are hard to find in from rolls since most are machine rolled. And the machine will not recognize the silver's signature and will reject it.

I would just stick with pennies... or... neechkeells...

Quarters have been heavily picked through because of folks interested in State Quarters.

Try individual rolls of quarters, instead of boxes. The ones brought in by customers sometimes are ones stuck away in drawers and forgotten until bad times hit. Sometimes you get lucky!

I sometimes dream of heading off to Montana for a weekend and stopping by some US bank (not specifically US BANK) and picking up a few rolls for grins...
