Guys, this coin has an error that is constant with this year, in the feathers. However, I found one that is completely different, suggestions?

This one is the standard stamping.

common area for die chips as OP noted, and Dearborn's hypothesis is very plausible since the very ends of the hair/feathers appear to be flattened!

agree with above, common die chips in between feathers and a circulation hit on the tips.
Beware buyers, these are listed on ebay for $50-$500 calling them Rare Mint Errors. Nothing rare
about them. Pitiful really.
I have found 6 of them (with same chips) already in circulation without even trying.

Not disagreeing with you at all, I would like a sample from ebay.

The important part of Tacc's comment is "Listed" not "Sold"

The ebay examples deals with the die chips in the feathers, not the arrowhead looking chips on the end of the feathers, which is primarily the question at hand.

My apologies Bill Kerr. I misunderstood.

I have not seen nor searched for these with "chips on the end of the feathers"

Replies seemed to believe these were circulation hits.

Consider my original post (line 2) above, as a public service announcement to forum members regarding this coin and false listings on ebay.
Common die chips between feathers and obvious damage to the tips of the feathers. Your question was addressed here.
