thinking byzantine , islamic imitation , don't know what the large symbol on back is , maybe just seeing things !! 3.03 g , widest 21 mm , planchet 1.5 mm thick . thanks in advance for any input regards dave

But I think you are right about it being "Arab Imitative"
The odd shape flan seems all too familiar
Possibly Constans II

The large M is the reverse
Obverse is Constans II facing
Bearded with cross above head
