I appreciate old art, paintings/sculptures, new art that actually requires some skill/talent. I don't care for modern art, different colors blobbed onto a canvas, random pieces of a material put together that anybody could do, little talent there in my opinion.
At Sotheby's a piece of "art" banana duct taped to wall sold for $6.2 million this week. That's crazy in my opinion. As they say there's no accounting for taste. At least the winner of number 1 flowing hair gets an ounce of gold.

I Would love to hear the mind-set from the Wall Banana Highest bidder, I Too agree with the Above , Art like many other things, Is " in the eye " of the beholder. You like, You Buy. Not my Cup of Tea either, .....

The mint's annual budget for 2024 is/was $4.7 billion, so revenue from numismatic sales is likely insignificant, but I guess every little bit helps.

Wasn't there some sort of weird dream sequence between seasons?

There was always some kinda cliff hanger between seasons on Dallas. The one that I think you are thinking of was when Bobby (JRs little bro) was run down and killed by a car driven by Katherine. The next season opened with Pam waking up in bed and hearing the shower going. She walks into the bathroom and Bobby is taking a shower.. The killing of Bobby was just a bad dream.
