1959 D Doubled Die OBV. DDO Nose East or something else ? The die marks on the OBV is A die gouge the the East of Y in LIBERTY and A die scratch running vertically between the T Y of LIBERTY. I found seven and all have the same die marks. What do you think? Thanks, Frank B.

Seems to be a slight die gouge. Nothing like that listed in Variety Vista for a 1959-D

I'm not seeing this as hub doubling.
Maybe an effect of polishing, similar to what causes trail dies?

Hi, yes Petespockets55. Die trail from the nose. I think you are correct. Thanks, Frank B.
